1Sg Richard E. Fox, U.S. Army (Ret.)

Richard E. Fox, 78, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2018.

Richard was born on April 14, 1939 in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania. Following high school, he proudly served as a military police officer in the United States Army where he retired with the rank of First Sergeant after 35 years. Richard later worked as a deputy sheriff for the Gwinnett County Sheriff Department. A devoted husband and father, he loved time spent with his family. Richard was a longtime member of Liberty United Methodist Church.

His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved wife, two daughters, and seven grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Richard will be laid to rest in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Richard E. Fox to Mikado Baptist Church Benevolence Fund, 6751 Houston Rd, Macon, GA 31216.
