Barbara Hall

Barbara Hall passed away at home on the evening of Wednesday, December 2, 2020. She was 67 years old.

Born in Riverdale, Maryland on October 20, 1953, Barbara was the daughter of Elaine Weaver and the late Donald Kenneth Hall. She retired from Verizon Communications and attended Oakland Baptist Church. Barbara was brilliantly crafty and loved using her talent while cross stitching, crocheting, sewing, and baking cakes. She was also an avid Kenny Rogers fan, but enjoyed jamming out to 50’s and 60’s Oldies music, too. When she wasn’t at home crafting or volunteering at church, you could find her bowling or spending time with her church family, all of whom she absolutely adored.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her niece, Rene Scolaro.

She is survived by her loving mother, Elaine Weaver; sisters, Debbie Shipe (Cliff) and Donna Pierce; and nieces and nephews, Tara McGee, Brian Shipe, Corey Shipe, and Kelly Brown.

Barbara’s family will receive friends at McCullough Funeral Home on Saturday, December 5, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Reverend Mike Winfree will share some words at 5:00 p.m. with those who attend. Barbara will be laid to rest at a later date in Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, Maryland.
