Charles Franklin Nelson, 77, passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2007.

Mr. Nelson was born on September 7, 1930 in Reynolds, Georgia. A United States Air Force Veteran, he retired from Civil Service as a Contract Negotiator. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, a former member of the Moose Lodge and he also attended First Christian Church in Warner Robins. His parents, Gann and Emma Nelson preceded him in death.

Survivors include his lovely wife of 14 years, Delores “Boots” Nelson of Warner Robins; son, Charles “Ray” Nelson (Jodi) of Roswell; step-sons, Jim Watson (Rhonda) of Bonaire, Rob Watson (Robin) of Macon and Bill Watson of Warner Robins; step-daughter, Carol Reagan (Alan) of Kathleen; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
