Denise Miller

Denise Lee Miller, 69, entered into rest on Thursday, June 8, 2023.

Denise was born on January 30, 1954, in Vincennes, Indiana to the late Walter and Laverne Thompson. She was a unique woman who was so special to so many. She made many friends and lasting friendships everywhere she went because of her bright personality and great sense of humor. She could always find common ground with anyone she met. She was the best mom anyone could ask for and enjoyed taking care of her two kids. She was selfless to a fault and was all about love. Denise was always curious and inquisitive; she loved history and was always learning, which also lent to her love of travel. She was an avid reader of all genres and enjoyed doing book exchanges with her daughter. In her free time, she loved listening to all genres of music, but particularly pop and 80s music, as well as cooking and baking; she made the best cakes. She will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure to know her.

In addition to her parents, Denise was preceded in death by her beloved cat, Gracie.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband of 43 years, Tom Miller of Warner Robins, GA; children, James Edward Miller (Reylyn P.) of Warner Robins, GA, and Catherine Leigh Miller (Tom Williford) of Atlanta, GA; siblings, Karen Morris of Jacksonville, FL and Gail Thompson of Warner Robins, GA along with many cousins and other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 14, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
