Keana Mariah Blake, 29, passed away at her home on Thursday, October 1, 2020.
Keana was born on September 28, 1991, in Terre Haute, Indiana. After graduating from Paris High School in Paris, Illinois, she earned an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Everest University in Brandon, Florida. Keana was a “do-it-yourself” kind of person, and she loved carpentry. On weekends, she could be found exploring local rummage sales or taking some target practice with her compound bow. She adored animals and had a special passion for turtles and frogs and anything else green. Quality time with her two children was of utmost importance to her, and she did that as often as she was able. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, David Cooley and Marcella Clements; her maternal great-grandparents, Grover Clements, Eva Switzer, and Bobby and Barbara Cooley; and her paternal grandmother, Janet Fansler.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband of two years, William Blake of Ogden, Utah; her children, Mililani Rosalie Blake of Ogden, Utah and Makaio Allen Mullen of Terre Haute, Indiana; her mother, Tammy Aljamal (Rafat) of Warner Robins; her fathers, David McIntyre (Amy Johnson) of Clearwater, Florida and David Mullen II of Terre Haute, Indiana; her sisters, Sabrina Marie Cooley (Jamar Strohm) of Sigonella, Italy, Kayla Ross (Jim) of Reno, Arkansas, and Bailey Campbell (Dylan) of Brocton, Illinois, Leen Aljamal, of Amman, Jordan; her brothers, Brendan Fansler of Paris, Illinois and Josh McIntyre (Danica) of Kansas, Illinois, Hashem Aljamal of Irbid, Jordan; her mother-in-law, Edith Whitbey of Henderson, North Carolina; her nieces, Mia Grace Fansler and Lacey McIntyre; her nephews, Ryan Strohm, Nikolai Strohm, Russell McIntyre, Landon McIntyre, James Ross, Clark Ross, and Knox Campbell; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
At the family’s request, all services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Keana Blake to any charitable organization for cancer research, suicide prevention, or domestic abuse.
