On the evening of Friday, June 7, 2019, Patricia Perdue Miller, 76, joined her Lord and Savior in heaven.
Mrs. Miller was born on December 11, 1942 in Petersburg, Virginia to the late Marshall Adrian, Sr. and Ruth Gertrude Barnes Perdue. She was a faithful member of First Evangelical Church. An avid reader, she also made sure to never miss her favorite television game shows. She adored her precious cat, but her greatest joy in life came from time spent with her beloved family. She was preceded in death by her brother, George Samuel Perdue.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of fifty-five years, Lenzie E. Miller, Sr.; her children, Lenzie E. Miller, Jr. of Macon, Shirley Minter (Keith) of Fayetteville, Georgia, Carol Blankenship (Bryan) of Wilmore, Kentucky, and David Mark Miller (Amanda) of Centerville, Georgia; her grandchildren, Lindsay Moss (Jamie), Robert Minter, Danielle Minter, Seth Minter, Caleb Blankenship (Chloie), Sarah Blankenship, and Anna Blankenship; her great-grandchildren, Judah, Tavish, and Lyella Blankenship; her siblings, Marshall Adrian Perdue, Jr. (JeMel) of Florida, Frances Kay Perdue of Macon, James Woodson Perdue (Athena) of Lithia Springs, Georgia, and Sara Ruth Matoi (Tom) of Kent, Washington; and a host of other extended family members and friends.
Visitation with Mrs. Miller’s family will be Monday, June 10, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the mausoleum chapel of Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The funeral service celebrating her life will immediately follow in the mausoleum chapel with Reverend Tim Long officiating. Following the service, Mrs. Miller will be laid to rest in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be made to First Evangelical Church, 3601 Fulton Mill Road, Macon, Georgia 31206.
