Smsgt. William Denver "Sonny" Brown, Jr., Usaf (Ret.)

William Denver “Sonny” Brown, Jr., 85, joined his beloved wife of 62 years, Barbara Ruth Lee Brown in heaven on Saturday, August 11, 2018.

Sonny was born to the late William Denver Brown, Sr. and Rose McIntosh Brown in New York on April 8, 1933. A proud Vietnam Veteran, he served his country for 30 years in the United States Air Force retiring with the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. Sonny went on to retire from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base where he was a Tech Manager with the Dark Horse Team. He was a Mason with the Fairbanks Tanana Lodge #3, as well.

He leaves to forever cherish his memory his loving children, Teresa Lynn Brown and Daniel Scott Brown, both of Kathleen; grandchildren, Chase Daniel Brown, Jacob Will Brown (Alyssa) and Dalton Cole Brown; and several adoring nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2018 in Magnolia Park Cemetery where he will be laid to rest..
