Valentyna Kryvoruchko, 85, entered into rest on Friday, July 21, 2023.
Valentyna was born on January 5, 1938, in a little village called Bratsky, which had been part of the Russian Federation at that time. At age 17, after graduating, she moved to Mykolaiv, Ukraine to study medicine. From there, she became a nurse and worked in various hospitals all over Ukraine until her retirement in 2007. She met her late husband, Mykola, in 1960 and together they enjoyed 60 years of marriage. In her free time, Valentyna enjoyed gardening, reading, and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
Her parents, Alexey and Aleksandra Manko, along with her husband, Mykola Kryvoruchko, preceded her in death.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter, Larysa Moore (Paul Ories); grandchildren, Danylo Matveyenko (Margarita) and Oleksiy Matveyenko (Julia); great-grandchildren, Eva Matveyenko, Jack Todd, Maximilian Matveyenko, Aleksander Matveyenko, and Roman Matveyenko; niece, Svetlana Laktionova and nephew, Vladimir Manko; along with many other loving family members and friends.
A church service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 24, 2023, at St. Innocent Orthodox Church at 7301 Rivoli Road, Macon, GA 31210. Following the church service, a reception will be held in the church parish hall.
