Aaron Ray-Russell Ayers

On the morning of Monday, September 11, 2017, Aaron Ayers passed away unexpectedly. He was 33 years old.

Aaron was born on August 1, 1984 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He worked for Pep Boys as a Service Advisor. Aaron was a strong willed man who enjoyed the simple life. He went through a great deal of trials but persevered with an incredibly patient endurance about him. Though Aaron was hard to get to know, he was a great man once you did. He was a very loyal friend who enjoyed modifying guns and gaming. His family will remember his quick witted, dry sense of humor, which had a unique way of making others laugh. Aaron had a signature red beard and referred to himself as “Mr. Leprechaun”.

His grandmother, Betty Farrell, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving parents, Danny and Michelle Ayers of Warner Robins; sister, Tascha Piatt (John) of Alabama; nieces and nephews, Kyria, Anya, Mikalah, and Corban Piatt; and grandparents, Raymond and Margie Ayers of Ohio.

A memorial service to celebrate Aaron’s life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Aaron Ray-Russell Ayers to a child cancer research center of donor’s choice.
