Warner Robins – Adelle W. Carter, 91, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2005 at Victoria’s Garden Personal Care Home. A Memorial Service will be held at Memory Hill Cemetery in Dothan, Alabama at 1:00 (c.s.t.) on Tuesday, March 1, 2005. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the donor’s favorite charity.

Mrs. Carter was born April 12, 1913 in Pansey, Alabama to the late John Wesley White and Emma Lou White. She was a member of Shirley Hills Baptist Church. A resident of Warner Robins since 1968, she retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base where she worked as a supply supervisor. In addition to her parents, her husband, James Ernest Carter preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Ruth Ann Carter, Jacksonville, North Carolina; and her granddaughter, Sue Elizabeth Robertson, Dothan, Alabama.
