Albert T. Manard

Albert "Al" T. Manard, 74, entered into eternal rest on March 18, 2010.

Mr. Manard was born on August 20, 1935 in Knoxville, TN. Al was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corp and retiree of the United States Air Force. He was a cryptographer while enlisted and participated in the Vietnam War and Korean conflict. Al and his family were former residents of Warner Robins. A self taught musician, he loved music and found great joy in entertaining his loving family. His parents, Thomas Manard and Ruth Anna Mann Manard, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Mary Lee Quigg Manard, Uvalda; children, Tom Manard (Julia), Bolingbroke; Tracy Swain (David), Kathleen; Frances Spears, Bonaire; grandchildren; Ben Manard, Ryan Manard, Dr. David Swain, Jr., Meri Golbeck, Lauren Spears, Colburn Spears, one great-grandson, Oliver Golbeck; and sister, Donna Larson, McGregor, MN.

Visitation will be Sunday afternoon, March 21, 2010 from 3: 00 p.m. until 5: 00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside Services with military honors will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 22, 2010 in Andersonville National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
