Aleida Walcott went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on the evening of Sunday, December 31, 2017. She was 64 years old.
Born on November 4, 1953 in New York City, Aleida graduated high school and attended Bronx Community College. She soon married the love of her life, Keith, and followed him with his Air Force career to Moody Air Force Base where she enjoyed serving as a youth counselor. Aleida and her family eventually settled in Warner Robins.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Cochrane and her son, Keith Walcott II.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband, Keith Walcott of Warner Robins; children, Charisse Walcott of Tucker and Tye Walcott (Mary) of Macon; stepdaughter, Kimberly Walcott of New York, New York; granddaughter, Lavendar Aleida Walcott; mother, Olga McCollum of New York, New York; siblings, Jennifer Davis, Michele Gaddy, Felice Leggett, Dana Cochrane, Yollette Cochrane, Sabrina Won, Liza Cochrane, William Cochrane II, Paul Cochrane, and Moses Cochrane; many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; and best friends, Willa and Willie Salley.
A Rosary will be on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at 9:00 a.m. with visitation following until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service celebrating Aleida’s life will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough.
