Alexis Diane Gunter

Alexis Diane Gunter, 20, entered into rest on Saturday, June 29, 2024. 

Alexis was born on December 22, 2003, in Warner Robins, Georgia. She attended and graduated from Northside High School, where she was very involved, especially in drama and theater. From there, she began attending Georgia College as a nursing major, a member of the Council of Ambassadors, and a previous Bridge Scholar Program Peer Mentor. She had just earned her white coat and taken her oath prior to her passing. 

She was a ray of sunshine and a light in a dark room. Always positive and determined, Alexis was shy, but had a big and bright energy that was unmatched. She had the kind of sweet countenance that had never met a stranger, welcoming and loving everyone she met. In her free time, she loved listening to any and all genres of music, watching sunsets, and fairies. She will be deeply missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing her. 

Alexis was loved by Dustin Gunter, Robert Gunter, Alan and Shannon Gunter, Lindsey Kakalecik, Brandon Gunter, Michael J. Gunter, and Julie Gunter, along with many other loving family members and friends. 

Visitation will be Friday, July 5, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Later, Alexis will be privately laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
