Alfred L. Moore, 87, died Thursday, December 13 at home. Services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, December 15 at Green Acres Baptist Church with interment following in Magnolia Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be Friday afternoon from 4:00 until 6:00pm at McCullough Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Hospice of Houston County, 2066 Watson Blvd., Warner Robins, GA, 31093.
Mr. Moore was born in Meridian, MS. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Army. He was retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. He was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church. Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his wife, Laverne Moore; parents, Alfred H. and Exie Moore; and brother, Robert Owen Moore.
Survivors include his sons, Mark Moore and Ronnie Moore, both of Warner Robins; sisters, Vera Lucas and Faye Sykes of Quitman, MS; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
