Alfred “Sky” Lawrence King, III

Alfred “Sky” Lawrence King, III, 44, entered into rest on Monday, October 9, 2023.

Sky was born on December 20, 1978, in Riverdale, Georgia.  He graduated from Jonesboro High School and went on to earn his bachelor's degree from West Georgia College with a double major in accounting and finance. From there, he had a variety of interesting jobs including being the former VIP client coordinator of internet sales,  cars sales, and insurance sales. In his free time, he enjoyed watching hockey, football, and racing. Sky’s presence will be greatly missed by those who knew him.

Sky was preceded in death by his uncle, Roger Eden Bradley.

His memory will forever be treasured by his parents, Alfred Lawrence “Larry” King, Jr. of St. Petersburg, FL; and Shelia Kathryn Bradley of Stockbridge, GA and John Samuel Ward of Stone Mountain, GA; grandparents, Guy Eden Bradley, Lois Kathleen Saunders Bradley, Jean Speer King, and Alfred Lawrence King, Sr.; aunts and uncles, Jerry Francis King, Charles Wesley King (Cindy), Murrell Cording (Bob), and Brenda Bradley; girlfriend, Suzie Sam; close friend, Barbara “Babs” Holland; along with a host of cousins and other loving family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 23, 2023, at Rest Haven Cemetery in Monroe, GA, where Sky will be laid to rest.
