Alfred “Spike” Nicklow, 72, passed away on Friday, July 13, 2007.
Mr. Nicklow was born on March 6, 1935, in Vancesmill, Pennsylvania. A faithful servant of the Lord, he was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Mr. Nicklow was a U. S. Air Force veteran who served during the Korean and Vietnam conflicts and Desert Storm, retiring with the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. He was also retired from Robins Air Force Base where he worked in Computer Operations. Mr. Nicklow was an advocate for LifeLink Tissue and Organ Bank.
His parents, Alfred A. Nicklow and Edith Lynch Nicklow, preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Nicklow, Warner Robins; daughters, Rae Lancaster (Mike), Oglethorpe; Kim Bounds (Steve), Warner Robins; Kay Fite, Warner Robins; Keri Nicklow, Perry and Keli Stokes (Carl), South Carolina; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sisters Margaret Staso and Bertha E. Galterio, Uniontown, PA; brother, John (Barbara) Nicklow, Warner Robins; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 15, 2007 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 16, 2007 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with entombment following in Magnolia Park Mausoleum. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1618 S. Houston Lake Rd. Kathleen, GA 31047
