Mrs. Alice Corbett Cleveland, 67, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2003 in her home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 17, at All Saints Episcopal Church with visitation at the church following the service. The Reverend Paul Gerlock will officiate. Interment will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 19 in Oconee Memorial Park in Seneca, South Carolina. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Houston County, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088 or to the All Saints Episcopal Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 7423, Warner Robins, GA 31095.
Mrs. Cleveland was born in Seneca, SC, to the late Edwin and Willie Mae Corbett. She was the widow of Col. Raymond Harold Cleveland, USAF (Ret.). She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church and the Episcopal Women’s Club. An avid golfer, she was a member of the Landings Golf Club and their Ladies Golf Association.
Survivors include her daughters, Anna Carson, Wichita, KS, and Amy Oen, Perth, Australia; sister, Martha ''MiMi'' Corbett Hemphill, Columbia, SC; grandchildren, Matthew Carson, Erin Carson, Sarah Oen, Christine Oen, and Sam Oen; and nephew, Ed Hemphill.
