Alice J. Capelle

Alice Capelle, 83, passed away on October 6, 2005 at Serenity Gate Hospice. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2005 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Hospice of Houston County, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.

Mrs. Capelle was born in Tiro, Ohio on June 13, 1922. She was of the Methodist faith and graduated from Tiro High School in Tiro, Ohio. She was the granddaughter of the late Daniel Traxler who was a soldier in The Grand Army of the Republic during the civil war and fought in the battle of Atlanta. Her parents, Frank and Mary Traxler, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, George R. Capelle, Warner Robins; daughters, Diane Blake (Greg), Clarksville; June Rogers (Rick), Hereford, Arizona; son, Thomas Capelle (Cyle), Warner Robins; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
