Alice Mcconnell

Alice McConnell, 77, entered into rest on Wednesday, September 21, 2019.

Born in Natchitoches, Louisiana, Alice was the daughter of the late Percy and Alice LaCour.
She was a sweet woman who laughed often and enjoyed getting all dressed up. Alice was known for her love of ice cream, and then quickly declaring that she needed to go on a diet. She was also an avid reader, reading anything from books to magazines. Most of all, she loved her family and her pet dogs.

In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Carl E. McConnell; siblings, Shirley LaCour, Donald LaCour, Bobby LaCour; and brother-in-law, Joseph Rachal.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her son, Mark McConnell; siblings, Joan Metoyer (Cornelious), Barbara Rachal, and Horace LaCour (Nancy); as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
At the family’s request all services will be private.
