Alicia Smith, 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, December 20, 2014.
Alicia was born on October 10, 1937, in Trevino, Mexico. She was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Alicia worked at the Georgia Department of Driver's Services and at Belk's. She was a member of the NCO Wives' Club and volunteered with the USO. Alicia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and cousin. Her mother, Eufemia Cantu, preceded her in death.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of fifty-seven years, Paul Calvert Smith, Bonaire; children, Sandra Alicia Gibbs (Kenny), Centerville; Paul Samuel Smith, Warner Robins; Marianne Smith Rudziak (Paul), Warner Robins; Melissa Smith Elliott (Jeff), Marietta; grandsons, Joshua Gibbs (Jacquelyn), Samuel Smith, Will Smith, Jackson Smith, Bradley Rudziak and Andrew Elliott; granddaughters, Megan Gibbs and Kaitlyn Rudziak; great-grandchild, Cohen Avery Gibbs; sister, Nelia Miranda, Michigan; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 23, 2014, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2014, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with private family interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given In Memory of Alicia Smith to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 3715 Northside Parkway, Bldg 4, Ste 300, Atlanta, GA, 30327.
