Allen Edward Black, 24, entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 14, 2009.
Allen was born on October 21, 1984, in Dallas, Texas. He attended Sacred Heart School, Warner Robins, and graduated from Mount de Sales Academy, Macon, in 2003, where he was a member of the soccer team. He graduated from NASCAR Technical Institute, Mooresville, North Carolina, in 2005. After graduation he worked as a Public Safety Officer for Top Shelf Entertainment, Charlotte, North Carolina. Most recently, he worked as a technician for Future Lighting Services, Warner Robins.
He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Warner Robins. Allen loved to spend time with friends and family, especially Annie and Raylea. He also enjoyed working with his hands, whether it was tinkering with cars, remodeling houses, building fences, drawing and designing his tattoos or enjoying his gun collection.
Allen was the loving son of Bruce and Lynn Black; devoted brother to Mark and Elizabeth; and grandson of Murray Chism. His memory will forever be treasured in the hearts of his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his Nana and Granddad Black, and Grammie Chism, who welcomed him into His Heavenly Home.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2009, at Trinity United Methodist Church, Warner Robins. An informal gathering at the family's home will follow the service. The family requests that no flowers be sent, but please donate in Allen's memory to the AGAPE Fund, c/o Trinity United Methodist Church, 129 S. Houston Road, Warner Robins GA 31088.
