Allen Scott McCleese, 35, lost his short battle with cancer on Wednesday, November 1, 2023.
Allen was born on August 8, 1988, in Warner Robins, Georgia. He graduated from Houston County High School in 2006 and went on to work as a crew member at Trader Joe’s. Allen was well-loved and known for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and his gift of music. He was an extremely talented musician and could play many instruments by ear, but his true love was playing the drums. With that talent, Allen played the drums in a variety of bands including Fox Wound, Mirror Move, Sleep Weather, Kansas City Shuffle, He Wrote the Apocalypse, Risen to Fall, and Moment Later.

His grandparents, Judy and Ken Young, and aunt, Maryann McClain, preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his parents, Scott McCleese, Angela Hebenstreit, and Chuck Hebenstreit; siblings, Justin McClain (Jasmine), Andrea McCleese, Jadie Shelton (Chad), and Andrew Hebenstreit; Allen’s fiancé, Audrey Pruitt; grandparents, Jo and Tom McCleese and Feeney, the cat.
Visitation will be Monday, November 6, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
