Alonzo Dewey Griffin

Alonzo Dewey Griffin, 57, died Monday, June 2, 2003. Services will be held on Friday, June 6 at 2:00 p.m. at Northside Baptist Church with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Houston County, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088.

Mr. Griffin was born in Hancock County, Georgia, to the late Dewey and Ruth Griffin. A veteran of the United States Army, he was retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Griffin, Centerville; daughter, Kimberly McGuire (Thomas), Ft. Valley; son, Kenneth Griffin (Lori), Perry; sister, Virginia Coxwell (James) and brothers, Irvin Griffin (Iva) and Royce Griffin (Brenda), all of Milledgeville; and grandchildren, John Griffin, Wesley McGuire, and Christopher McGuire, all of Ft. Valley; and Breanna Griffin and Kenneth Griffin, Jr., both of Perry.
