Angela Polk passed into the hands of her Lord on Sunday, February 14, 2016. She was 45.
Angela was born in Warner Robins on February 27, 1970, the daughter of Tom and Chong Callaway of Centerville. She was raised in Warner Robins where she was a 1988 graduate of Northside High School and member of Westside Baptist Church.
Following high school, Angela continued her education in the medical field as a lab technician. She worked with Internal Medicine Associates in Macon during the week and Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville on the weekends. At work, Angela was known for making her patients feel comfortable and loved. She genuinely loved to be around people and had a loving and caring personality. Angela leaves behind so many that will remember her sweet smile and laughter that were never in short supply.
In addition to her parents, Angela leaves her brother, James Callaway (Brette) of Bonaire; niece, Sophie Callaway; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 17, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Westside Baptist Church with the Reverend Mike Parker officiating. Following the service, Angela will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
