Anita Recto Putnam

Anita Recto Putnam entered into eternal rest on the morning of Friday, April 18, 2025, at the age of 67.

Born in San Fernando, Romblon, Philippines, Anita was the daughter of the late Semplecio and Jorgina Recto Malacapo. A devoted wife and homemaker, Anita poured her love into her family and her home.

Anita was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life—sewing with care and creativity, taking peaceful walks, and watching Disney movies.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her beloved husband, Stephen Robert Putnam of Warner Robins; brothers, Paquito, Edwin, Pedro, Danilo, Romeo, Simplicio, and Lito Malacapo; and sister, Alma Malacapo Relox.

Visitation with Anita’s family and friends will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Anita Recto Putnam will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Anita Recto Putnam to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
