Ann P. Walker, 66, passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2004 at her residence. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 8, at Bonaire First Baptist Church with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 7, from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Born in Macon, Mrs. Walker was a member of First Baptist Church of Bonaire, where she attended the Adults Four Sunday School Class. She graduated from Miller High School in Macon, was a graduate of Georgia College in Milledgeville and received her Master’s degree in Business Administration. Mrs. Walker was retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base where she worked as the Financial Manager for the Base Commander. She was a member of the Eastern Star for 42 years and a past grand representative of Oregon in Georgia. Mrs. Walker was a past Matron of Martha Berry #351 and a member of Daughters of the Nile. She was president of the Houston County Shrine Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Walker was a member of the VFW and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a past Toast Mistress and Toast Master. Preceding her in death were her parents Willie B. and Melba C. Peacock.
Survivors include, husband of 47 years, Harley E. Walker, Bonaire; daughter, Debra Ann Waller, Milledgeville; son, William H. Walker, Warner Robins; daughter, Brenda Joyce Walker, Warner Robins; sister, Brenda P. Vickery, Fayetteville; brother-in-law, Curtis W. Walker, Zillah, Washington; grandchildren, Benjamin H. Waller; Ariel Marie Walker; Wesley Carroll Walker; and Kathryn Elaine Walker.
