Anna Marie Venable

Warner Robins resident, Anna Marie Venable, passed away unexpectedly at Houston Medical Center on Tuesday, December 1, 2021 at the age of 50.

Born in Indiana on September 30, 1971, Anna was the daughter of the late William Purvis and Paulene Ott. Anna was a proud homemaker for most of her adult life. She was married to Danny Charles Venable in 2003. In her professional life, Anna held a variety of jobs, including as a waitress and a short-order cook. She also ran a calendar store in the mall, was part-owner of a lawn care company, and enjoyed watching children as a daycare worker. Her children and grandchildren were her world and she adored every minute she was able to spend with them. She was a fantastic cook who enjoyed going on cruises, camping, playing the lottery, motorcycle rides, and watching the Lifetime Television Channel.

In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her daughter, Heather Nicole Lamb; sister, Jaunita Musto; and birth mother, Lulabell Reed Corey.

Left to cherish Anna’s memory are her husband, Danny Venable; children, Natalie Lorraine Knipe, Joshua Corey Lamb, and Sarah Elizabeth Marie Lamb; stepson, Jason Chandler Venable; grandchildren, Cayden Lamb, Clarissa Knipe, Gavin Knipe, Kinsleigh Lamb, Mario Barnes, Caleb Lamb, Jaxson Venable, and Alicia Venable; and brothers, Tim Musto, Bill Purvis, and Cecil Purvis, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 3, 2021 at McCullough Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Magnolia Park Cemetery with Reverend Les Brown officiating.
