Anne F. Shaver

Anne Shaver, 72, walked into the loving arms of Jesus Christ on Sunday, December 6, 2015.

Born on June 30, 1943, Anne was one of two daughters to the late Walter Feuer and Sarah Leiderman Slaven. She was a proud Air Force Wife for 25 years while her husband, Col. (Dr.) Bruce Shaver, served his country. Following their military career, Bruce and Anne opened up a private dental practice in Warner Robins where she assisted him chairside and was the company's bookkeeper and office manager for many years.

Anne loved the Lord and was a longtime member of Christ United Methodist Church. A member of the Officers' Wives' Club, she enjoyed socializing, shopping and traveling. Anne was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Barbara Stafford.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her devoted husband of 51 years, Dr. Bruce E. Shaver of Warner Robins; daughters, Leigh Anne Joyner (Bo) and Erin Lynn Pryor (Bailey), both of Kathleen; and grandchildren, Griffin and Bailey Joyner.

A memorial visitation will be held Thursday, December 10, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with a memorial service taking place at Christ United Methodist Church on Friday, December 11, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Afterwards, Mrs. Shaver will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Anne to Christ United Methodist Church, 511 Russell Parkway, Warner Robins, GA 31088 or to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Suite A, Macon, GA 31201.
