Annie Mae Jett Burdett, 93, entered into rest on Monday, January 23, 2012.
Ms. Burdett was born on May 15, 1918, in Atlanta. She was a member of Mikado Baptist Church and the Ladies Sunday School Class. A devoted homemaker, she had worked at Newberry's – McCrory in sales before she retired. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Oscar L. Burdett; son, James Larry Burdett, and parents, Daniel Jett and Ella Jett.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter, Linda Bagnal (Walt), Warner Robins; grandchildren, Amy Fitzpatrick (Michael), Macon, Angela Murrell, Warner Robins, Lew Burdett (Jennifer), Gordon, and Mark Murrell, Warner Robins; and great-grandchildren, Ethan Fitzpatrick, Molly Fitzpatrick and soon-to-be Emery Burdett.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 24, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2012, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Pastors Johnny Ellison and Rusty Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Gideon International Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 537, Warner Robins GA 31099 or Mikado Baptist Church Building Fund, 6751 Houston Road, Macon GA 31216.
