Anthony C. Izzo, 91, died Sunday, April 27, 2003. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 30, at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield, NJ. A rosary will be said at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening at McCullough Funeral Home, and visitation will follow until 9:00 p.m.

Mr. Izzo was born in Castelfranco of Miscano, Benevento, Italy, and graduated from Port Chester High School in New York. A veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps, he served during WWII and attaining the rank of Master Sergeant. He was a retired postal clerk with the U.S. Post Office and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. His wife, Josephine Petrucelli Izzo, and parents, Leonard and Maria Izzo, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his son, Col. Leonard A. Izzo, U.S. Army (Ret.), and daughter-in-law, Joan Marie Izzo, Ashburn, VA; daughter, Mary Jane O’Neal, Warner Robins; and grandchildren, Anthony, Elizabeth, and Mary Izzo, Ashburn, VA.
