April McCleary, 38, entered into rest on Friday, April 28, 2017.

April was born on December 5, 1978 in Torrance, California to Susan Beighley and the late James Gautney. She moved to Georgia in her early childhood and attended Houston County High School, Class of 1997. April was employed at Remax Traditions in Cumming, Georgia. In her free time, she volunteered at local animal shelters and horse rescues where she dedicated her time to taking care of many animals. April enjoyed singing and writing songs but her greatest passion was her adoring family.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her beloved husband, Chris McCleary; children, James Williams (Angel) of Warner Robins, Taylor McCleary and Christian McCleary, both of Cumming; granddaughter, Chloe Williams; mother, Sue Beighley (Tim) of Kathleen; step-mother, Jayne Gautney; father in law, Jerry McCleary of Perry; and siblings, Brian Gautney (Tabitha), Matt Beighley (Letha) and Danny Beighley (Laura), Cameron Gautney, Cheyenne Kyzer (Jimmy) and Krystal Gautney (Joseph) and grandmother, Mary Ann Gautney.

A Memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with visitation being held one hour prior to the service. A second service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, Georgia. Family will greet friends and family following the service.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of April McCleary to Forsyth County Animal Shelter, 4065 County Way, Cumming, Georgia 30028.
