Late in the evening of Friday, August, 11, 2023, Arlene Harrell, 72, joined her Lord and Savior in heaven.
Arlene was born on April 2, 1951, in College Park, Georgia to the late Earl and Fern Stevens. She dedicated many years to working as an IT Project Manager for Smith & Nephew. Arlene was passionate about her church and loved art and gardening. Her favorite place was the beach. She was preceded in death by her brother, Max Stevens.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her adoring husband of fifty-three years, John Franklin Harrell, Jr.; sons, John Harrell, III and Steven Harrell; grandchildren, Ayla Harrell, Avery Harrell and Eden Fern Harrell; and brothers, Phillip Stevens and Bill Stevens.
Visitation with Arlene’s family will be Monday, August 14, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The funeral service celebrating her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at Andrew Church located at 2430 Highway 127, Kathleen, GA. For friends and family unable to attend, the service will be streamed live via the Andrew Church Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/AndrewChurchKathleen/.
