Aubrey Wayne Pope

Aubrey Wayne Pope, 79, entered into rest on June 24, 2011.

Mr. Pope was born on November 16, 1931 in Cairo, Georgia. He retired from the United States Air Force as a Master Sergeant. His daughter, Elizabeth "Lisa" Pope; parents, Aubrey L. and Edie Ruth Dawson; and brother, Winston Pope, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be cherished by his loving wife of forty one years, Rita M. Pope, Centerville; children, Stan (Catherine) Pope, Ottawa, Canada; Debbi (Sammy) Smith, Alpharetta; Denise Pope, St. Bruno, Quebec; and Robin (Louie) Pope, Montreal, Quebec; five grandchildren; and sisters, Shirley (Jack) Pollock, Camilla; and Sue (Ed) Bass, Centerville.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 26, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 27, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to be made to the Sacred Heart Building Fund, 300 South Davis Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
