Audra Sue Freeman

June 28, 1951 — July 16, 2021

Audra Sue Freeman of Cochran was called to her heavenly home on Friday, July 16, 2021. She was 70 years old.

A passionate horsewoman, Sue was a charter member of the Mingo Trails Saddle Club in Toomsboro. She discovered her love of horses at an early age and never lost it. She graduated from Warner Robins High School in 1969 and received an associates degree from Georgia Military College. She retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base as an item manager. A member of Second Baptist Church, Sue loved to cook and to collect cookbooks. She was always up for a shopping excursion with her family. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her world and she cherished spending time with all of them.

Born in Macon on June 28, 1951 she was the daughter of the late Charles H. Beasley and Velda Branson Beasley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Charles Beasley.

Those left to treasure the memory of Sue are her husband of 23 years, Junius Franklin “Frank” Freeman, Jr.; her children, Donald Scott Brannon (Candace), Amanda Brannon, Michael Freeman (Pam), Monica Freeman, and Melinda “Pee-Wee” Ingram; sisters, Dianne Glenn (Michael), and LeeAnne B. Berry (Eddie); sister-in-law, Amy Beasley; grandchildren, Aaron Brannon, Alikzander Brannon, Donavon Brannon-Lewis, Dorian Brannon, Taylor McCleese, Tanner McCleese, Ben Smith, Amanda Ginn, Andrea Walton, Glen Smith, Grady Hilburn, Grant Hilburn, and Ty Ingram; great grandchildren, Kamre Smith, Hadley Smith, Finley Smith, Graysen Hilburn, McKenzie Ginn, Maverick Ginn, Grayson Waddell, and Ari and Adi Womble; and a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 19, 2021 at McCullough Funeral Home. Her service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Cleghorn officiating. Interment will be private.
