Audrea Ann Cox-Labny, born on May 10, 1954, passed away at home on Monday, August 30, 2021, at the age of 67. She was born in Orange, Texas, the daughter of the late U.S. Navy Veteran, Ross Cox, and his wife, Elizabeth Knisley Cox.
Growing up in a military family, Audrea was constantly relocating in her formative years. She lived in Erie, Illinois, Hartford, Alabama, and eventually settled in Smith Station, Alabama. For the majority of her working years, Audrea was employed as a Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator in a few locations, such as, Columbus, Georgia, Phenix City, Alabama and Lafayette, Alabama, before moving to Warner Robins in 2018. She embraced the change of pace after moving to Warner Robins as she greatly enjoyed working with the senior citizens at the Warner Robins Senior Center. When Audrea wasn’t entertaining her seniors, she loved doting on her grandchildren and watching television.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Cox.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving sons, Blayr Cox of Stockbridge and Ross Labny of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Haley and Brice Cox, and Emma and Troy Labny; and sister, Pamela Eppinger of Carmel, New York.
Audrea’s family will receive friends for a memorial gathering at McCullough Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 3, 2021.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Audrea to the Warner Robins Senior Center, 152 Maple St., Warner Robins, GA 31093.
