Bainor E. Evans

Bainor E. Evans, 81, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2005. Services will be held in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home on Monday, December 19, 2005 at 3:30 p.m. with entombment following at the Magnolia Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be Sunday, December 18, 2005 from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mr. Evans was born on April 13, 1924 in Ben Hill County, GA. He was a member of Shirley Hills Baptist Church, as well as a former member of the Lions Club in Rochelle and the Elks Club in Fitzgerald. He served the United States Army in World War II as a member of Patton’s Army. Mr. Evans was retired from Robins Air Force Base. His son, J. Scott Evans and his parents, John and Emma Evans, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Sarah Evans, Warner Robins; daughters, Linda (Randy) Taggart, Byron; Jackie (Mario) Largaespada, Kathleen; brothers, Cleo Evans, Fitzgerald; Wiley Evans, Fitzgerald; Lavada DeKoyer, Sun City, California; grandchildren, Chris Taggart (Kelly), Warner Robins; Cory Largaespada (Cassie), Orlando, Florida; Jarrett Largaespada (Jaime), Orlando, Florida; Drew Evans, Dawsonville, Georgia; and nine great-grandchildren.
