Barbara Ann Sylvia, 66, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2005 at home. Services will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at Southside Baptist Church. Burial will be Thursday, May 5, 2005 at Pine Grove Cemetery in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Visitation will be Monday, May 2, 2005 from 6 until 8PM at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers make donations to either American Lung Cancer Association 804 Cherry Street Ste. A. Macon, Georgia 31210 or Hospice of Houston County 103 Westridge Drive Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.

Mrs. Sylvia was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and the Lady’s 2 Sunday School Class. Her husband, Richard Sylvia; parents, Harold and Roberta Yates, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sons, Richard Sylvia; David Sylvia; and Scott Sylvia, Massachusetts; daughters, Donna Sylvia, Massachusetts; Sherry Lee “Sylvia” Petain, Warner Robins; seven grandchildren.
