Mrs. Barbara Jean Williams, 75, entered into rest on Tuesday, October 9, 2012.
Barbara was born on February 21, 1937 in De Kalb, Mississippi and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She was a member of Faith Tabernacle in Byron, Georgia. B.J. was employed by General Motors in Southfield, Michigan prior to moving to the Middle Georgia area in 1999. She took great pride in honoring her husband as a wonderful wife and was a dedicated, loving mother and homemaker. Her parents, Alvin Powell and Ima Lee McCallum Powell, preceded her in death.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her beloved husband of forty seven years, Mr. Eugene Williams, Jr., Kathleen; her adoring daughter, Ms. Hellen Joyce McDonald, Dublin; sister in law, Mrs. Elaine Williams; nephews, Mr. Darrel Williams (Tonya), Mr. Joe Williams (Saeirita); aunt, Mrs. Norean Lawson; cousins, Mr. Dennis and Ann Rome, Mrs. Iris Lee Cole; special friends, Mrs. Algeria McCutton, Mrs. Barbara Banks, Mrs. Margaret Beard, Mrs. Nina Cole; special church members, Brother and Sister Bruce and Alberta Allison, Brother and Sister Joe and Julia Mayo; and a host of other special relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening, October 16 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Faith Tabernacle with Pastor David Yancey officiating. Entombment will follow in Magnolia Park Mausoleum.
