Barbara Jean Blankenship Goff Hoke

Barbara J. Hoke, 70, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 after a courageous battle with brain cancer.

Barbara was born on April 20, 1945 in Pikeville, Kentucky and was of the Baptist faith. She graduated from Johns Creek High School in Johns Creek, Kentucky and was a supervisor at Jeff Carter Cleaners in Warner Robins for many years. In most recent years, Barbara enjoyed being a loving wife, mother, friend, and doting grandmother. She enjoyed quilting, traveling, and researching her family's history. Barbara dedicated a year and a half to creating the Blankenship family tree consisting of 54 pages. Her parents, Condor and Sarah Blankenship; brothers, John, Henry and Russell Blankenship; and sisters, Julie Maynard and Ethyl Blankenship, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her devoted husband of 26 years, Ronald J. Hoke of Warner Robins, Georgia; daughter, Katrina Goff Nelson (Arch) of Alpharetta, Georgia; son, Kerby Alan Goff of Warner Robins, Georgia; stepson, David B. Hoke (Joanne and family) of Spokane, Washington; five grandchildren, Blake Goff, Garrett Goff, Parker Nelson, Merrill Nelson and Breona Goff; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 24, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 25, 2015 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens.

The family will accept flowers, but those who wish may make donations in memory of Barbara J. Hoke to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Suite A, Macon, GA 31201 or to your favorite charity.
