Barbara Jean Brewster

Barbara Jean Brewster, 85, entered into rest on Thursday, December 20, 2012.

Mrs. Brewster was born on May 8, 1927 in Providence, Rhode Island. She was a member of Riverside Congregational Church in Riverside, Rhode Island. Barbara was a loving homemaker. She was a member of the American Legion in Rhode Island and a member of the Houston County Shrine Ladies Organization in Georgia. Her husband, Herbert W. Brewster, and her parents, Edward G. Godfrey and Maisie Sayer Godfrey, all preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children and their spouses, Susan Marques (Filipe), of Massachusetts; Herbert W. Brewster (Dawn), Linda Motta (Earl), all of Georgia; Richard Brewster (Annette), of Florida; brother, Bud Godfrey; eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held in Rhode Island at a later date. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests that donations be made to the Al-Sihah Shriners Center, 222 Mecca Drive, Macon, Georgia 31206.
