Barbara Jean Cunningham

Barbara Jean Cunningham, 66, entered into rest on Thursday, May 3, 2012.

Mrs. Cunningham was born on October 22, 1945 in Macon, Georgia. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Barbara retired from civil service after twenty years of employment at Robins Air Force Base where she was a Program Manager. She was passionate about animals and involved in many animal rescue organizations. Barbara also loved to read and spend time with her family. Her father, Henry Kobylinski, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband of thirty five years, Gene Raymond Cunningham, mother, Frances Kobylinski, both of Warner Robins; children, Virginia Watts (Don), Eastman; James Michael Wendler (Kim), Kathleen; Lynn Lamontagne (Shane), Warner Robins; step daughter, Mary-Elizabeth Francine (Tim), Atlanta; sister, JoAnn Stewart, Warner Robins; thirteen loving grandchildren, Jennifer Bell, Ashleigh Dooley, Matthew Brewer, Madison, Taylor, and Grace Lamontagne, Hilton, Harper and Hollis Francine, Ryan, Brianna, Noah and Ethan Wendler; and many other loving family members and friends.

A Rosary will be held on Sunday evening, May 6, beginning at 6:00 p.m. with visitation following until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 7, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 886 Mulberry Street, Macon, Georgia 31201.
