Barbara Lois Meadows

Barbara Lois Meadows, loving mother, grandmother, and friend, entered into rest on Saturday, September 26, 2015.

Barbara was born on January 4, 1932, in Miami, Florida and was of the Baptist faith. She was a respected hairdresser with loyal clients and friends for many years. In her leisure time, she enjoyed crocheting and solving crossword puzzles. An avid cat lover, Barbara also found great pleasure in her weekly Thursday trip to Piggly Wiggly to purchase tabloid magazines hot off the presses. In her younger years, she enjoyed riding motorcycles with her three older brothers.

Her parents, Walter L. McCoy and Barbara Nelson, and brothers, Walter L. McCoy, Jr., Edward McCoy, and Richard McCoy, all preceded her in death.

Barbara's memory will forever be treasured by her loving daughter, Donna Barnwell (Robert) of Warner Robins; and grandchildren, Justin, Jenna and Jessica Barnwell.

A Memorial Gathering to celebrate Barbara's life will be held on Monday, September 28, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.
