Barbara Muse Chambers

Barbara Muse Chambers, 82, passed away into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 29, 2014.

Born and raised in Carrollton, Georgia, Barbara was one of three children to the late James Newt and Lois Scoggins Muse. She devoted 24 years as a much-loved secretary to Warner Robins Middle School and took pride in being a wonderful homemaker. There wasn't another wife more loving to her husband or mother more wonderful to her children.

In her free time, Barbara enjoyed cross-stitching. She called Second Baptist Church her second home. There, she sang with the choir and was a member of both the XYZ and Joy Jubilee Sunday School Classes.

Her parents; and sister, Virginia Reagan, preceded her in death.

Barbara's memory will forever be treasured by her adoring husband of 62 years, Harold Chambers of Warner Robins; children, Mark Chambers of Perry, Elaine Daniel (Tommy) of Bonaire and Randy Chambers of Lake Jackson; grandchildren, Mitchell Chambers (Candis), Amanda Daniel, Steven Daniel, and Melissa Cannon (Daniel); great-grandchildren, Ella Kaye Chambers, Andrew Daniel and Briana Crocket; brother, Newt Muse of Carrollton; and several loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 30, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Second Baptist Church, 2504 Moody Road, Warner Robins, GA 31088 with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Reverend Mike Slade will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given In Memory of Barbara Muse Chambers to Second Baptist Church Building Fund, 2504 Moody Road, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
