Born October 12, 1939, in Roanoke, Alabama, Reggie was the eldest daughter of her parents Lera Mae and Jerry L. Keeble. As a youngster, Reggie moved to Dry Branch, Georgia quickly settling in Macon and completing school there. It was at Middle Georgia College that she met her husband of 47 years, Vic Robbins. They married January 23, 1960, and moved to Warner Robins. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church where she had taught Sunday School and helped in the kindergarten. Reggie worked with the Houston County Board of Education for over 30 years, recently retiring. She loved children. Especially her own: daughters, Debbie and Stephanie, son, Vic and her precious granddaughter, Torie. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Ever a voracious reader, Reggie could retell a story or recite facts that were both entertaining and interesting. Her laughter was contagious. Her humor was priceless. Over the years, she had a keen eye for antiques and collectables and she shopped as an expert. An excellent cook, Reggie enjoyed preparing meals for family and friends.
She proceeded in death by her parents and younger sister Geraldine Smith. Surviving her is husband, Vic Robbins, daughters, Deborah Robbins Holt, Cumming, Georgia and Stephanie Robbins Leonard (Jack), Warner Robins; son, Vic Robbins, Jr., granddaughter, Torie Robbins and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 16, 2007 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 17, 2007, in the First Presbyterian Church with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens. The family suggests memorials may be given to Heartland Hospice House, 115 Arkwright Landing, Macon, Georgia 31210.
