Barry D. Vandigriff

Barry D. Vandigriff, 70, entered into rest on Wednesday, July 16, 2014.

Barry was born on April 16, 1944 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to the late Benjamin Franklin and Blanche Sisson Vandigriff. He earned a B.A. from Shorter College in Rome, Georgia and Master's Degree from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, Georgia. Barry went on to coach football, girls' basketball and track at Warner Robins High School. Barry also was owner/operator of Acoustical Floors, Inc. for thirty years.

He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing. He also loved golf. Barry was a longtime member of Houston Lake Country Club.

Barry's memory will forever be treasured by his devoted wife of forty-two years, Nan Johnson Vandigriff of Perry; children, Lindsey Jordan (Kent) of Warner Robins and Ben Vandigriff of Perry; and grandchildren, Owen and Davis Jordan.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2014 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Houston Lake Country Club. Burial will be private.
