Barry Douglas Hayes passed away at the Houston Medical Center on Friday, November 12, 2021. He was 63 years old.
Born in Adel, Georgia, on September 25, 1958, Barry was raised in Perry, Georgia. He graduated from Warner Robins High School and went onto to earn his Bachelor’s Degree. Passionate about helping others, Barry opened his own business, Unlimited Visions, where he was a drug and alcohol abuse counselor. Barry was also president of the Georgia Addiction Counselors Association.
In his spare time, Barry enjoyed doing repair work. He could fix anything around the house or on automobiles. A fan of music, Barry especially enjoyed Southern Rock. Most of all, he loved his daughters and grandkids and did everything he could for them. Barry will be remembered for his great personality and unconditional love he had for others.
Barry was preceded in death by his father; and mother, Irene May Hayes; siblings, Paul Hayes and Debbie Hayes.
His memory will forever be treasured by his children, Deborah Gail Hayes and Siara Dasie Ballard-Mack (La’Tavin), all of Griffin; grandchildren, Jasper Oody Hendrix Ballard-Mack and Ja’siah Cobain Ballard Mack.
Visitation with Barry’s family will be Tuesday, November 16, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The funeral service celebrating his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
