Barry Paul Brooks

Barry Paul Brooks, 61, entered into rest on Wednesday, May 24, 2023.

Barry was born on May 24, 1962, in Warner Robins, Georgia. He was an intelligent man with a broad education. He earned his bachelor's degree from Auburn University and his master’s degree from The American Institute of Business. He was employed with Robins Air Force Base until retirement, at which point he re-entered the workforce with Credence Management Solutions as an electrical engineer. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Barry loved his family and children. In his free time, he enjoyed softball, fishing, and was an avid golfer.

His father, Simmie P. Brooks, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his children, Sean Brooks (Nicole), Tucker Brooks, Riley Brooks, Bethanie Brooks, and Blake Caudle; mother, Margaret Brooks; sisters, Renee Sigmon (Jim) and Christy Young (Craig); and former spouse, Melanie Brooks, along with many other loving family members and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Trinity United Methodist Church.
