Becky Day

Minnie Rebecca Day, 87 of Villa Rica, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at her residence.

She was born on February 8, 1935 in Drew, Mississippi, the daughter of the late J. Elzy Stacy and Mary Edwards Stacy. She was preceded in death by her first husband, H.L. Bruce, and son, Timothy Bruce.

Mrs. Day was a member of Westside Church of Christ in Warner Robins, Georgia and formerly employed with Atmos Energy.

Survivors include her husband, Isaac Day; son, Paul Bruce and wife, Merissa; brother, Jesse Elzy Stacy and wife, Brenda; stepchildren, Teresa Day Wilson and Joseph Day; nieces, Stephanie Richter and Peggy Thomas; nephews, Joshua Stacy, Richard Bruce and Noel Bruce; grandchildren, Ben Bruce, Jeremy Bruce, Jordan Bruce, Joshua Bruce, Jonathan Bruce, Joe Bruce, Brandon Bruce, Jessi Bruce, Christina Clifford, Iris Stanford, David Day, Art Calix and Shaun Calix; as well as many great-grandchildren.

A memorial gathering will take place on Saturday, August 20, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A memorial service celebrating Becky’s life will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
