Bedford Forrest "Skeet" Haralson, 84, entered into rest on Tuesday, November 17, 2009.
Mr. Haralson was born on April 26, 1925 in Atlanta. He retired from Robins Air Force Base after thirty-seven years of faithful service. A charter member of Central Baptist Church, he faithfully attended the Pete Joiner I class for many years and served as secretary in the Children's Department.
He was an avid bowler who belonged to a number of leagues over the years, concluding with a Senior League in retirement. He was also a member of the Warner Robins Coin Club. He was predeceased by his parents, Willie Clay Haralson and Alice Coker Haralson.
He will forever live in the hearts of his wife of fifty-eight years, Virginia Patisaul Haralson, Warner Robins; son, James Forrest Haralson, Warner Robins; daughter, Donna Jean Beverly (Randy), Ochlocknee; grandchildren, Staff Sergeant David Beverly (Karen), Lori Jean Beverly, and Ginny Ask (Cory); one great-grandchild; sister, Mary Swain, Warner Robins; brother, Robert Haralson, Pine Mountain Valley; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 19, 2009, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 20, 2009, at Central Baptist Church, Reverends Hugh Kinsey and Sidney Odom officiating. Entombment will follow in Magnolia Park Mausoleum.
