Bennie Ray Carver, 71, of Byron, Georgia, passed away on June 2, 2024. Bennie was a devoted father, cherished grandfather, and beloved member of the community. He is survived by his daughter, Tina Smith, and her husband Rick, as well as his adored grandchildren, Kaylynn Wallace, Abigail Wallace, Ryan Smith, and Aiden Smith.
Throughout his life, Bennie was dedicated to serving others, particularly through his involvement with the youth group at Byron Baptist Church, where he mentored and inspired countless young people for decades. His commitment to his faith and his community left an indelible mark on those he touched.
Professionally, Bennie worked tirelessly in Route Sales, exemplifying diligence and reliability in his career. Outside of work, he found joy in the simplicity of life, enjoying hunting, fishing, and traveling with his family.
Bennie will be remembered for his quick wit, his infectious laughter, and his knack for delivering memorable one-liners. He was a true character, bringing light and laughter to every gathering he attended.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
